I'm worn out on LLMs. Talking about them, using them, seeing them used. Lots of slop, lots of people pretending it's not slop, using slop, sharing slop, so much slop.

There is so much to humanity to be discussed, share, and build.

I think keeping talk of LLMs in it's place is something we all need to be cautious of. Its code running on machines, nothing more, full stop. LLMs are not people, the LLM can not think, the LLM cannot feel, and it probably isn't improving your life the way you think it is. The pronoun for an LLM is "it". The intelligence is not artificial, and it's hardly meets any component of the definition of intelligence.

Contrary to online discussion, the vast majority of humanity doesn't interact with an LLM in any impressionable way, and does not converse about it. They know about it because it's the only thing holding up the entire world economy right now.
