After reading the Open WebUI documentation and also playing with Claude, I'd say that's how LLMs work.
We get web search only when the providers set the tool up themselves.
That's why Claude's is bad (HTML browsing only) and you need a third party like Bright Data or Firewall for JavaScript site browsing.
