The study had no solution. Honestly it’s probably the underlying problem with getting people to leave the fiat system as well (since it’s a programmed belief in authority).

Personally, I try to stay way from ad hominem as much as possible and avoid logical fallacies (very hard to do on nostr lol). At the end of the day, we are still on the same side. If they understood fully what’s happening, they wouldn’t be running Core and putting the chain at risk of embedding illicit material and spam. Just having that perspective should help. In the very least, prevent the virus from spreading.

We still need to correct misinformation about the BIP, but leading with validation and steel-manning their argument is much more effective than just “proving them wrong”.
