What I don't understand is why they didn't go for Mastodon, instead of BlueSky. That would be a European-based protocol with lots of Euro Fedivers servers. And we have a Nostr bridge for that.

I know they're looking at Nostr, too, but if they don't want to wait, they could just go Fediverse and then they could later move over the bridge.

This is all bullshit rushed out for Davos, IMO. Totally burying superior pilot projects.
