@nprofile1q... totally, and that's why it's such a fun example of the cluelessness of science in this area.. that they can seemingly get away with saying the wackiest stuff here because we have so little idea what consciousness is. I suppose you could literally say "maybe it's ____" with your craziest idea and get that published because why not?
