@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... Actually, I would say that <description> and <itunes:summary> were more alike: a short summary of the episode. While <content:encoded> was the full notes.

But I think for episode notes, <description> might be the most compatible fallback because it's base RSS instead of requiring the "iTunes" or "content" namespaces. Apple even switched to using <description>.
