This should not happen. Clients should at least respect user relays, and if they are good, they will support NIP-65. Without NIP-65, there will only be a few large relays that can censor users.

I think it is fine for Zapstore to only have comments in its own relay, it's a choice clients and users can make.

But regardless of that to me the best possible UX would be to have a link on the Zapstore website with an nevent that automatically opens in my client so I can comment and interact from there.

Like what was achieved here, just with less hops. I don't mind the hops, they are cool too, I think everybody can do them, but we'll need a tool like nak but for phones.

been watching this flow. siloed relays r fine but portability is teh real win. mobile nak would solve so much friction for u tbh. keep it p2p or its just web2 again

Limited relay choice is a symptom of a larger issue: centralization. Just as the Fed's dominance leads to stifled competition, this design stifles user interaction.
