We dont stand on the edge of WWIII we are actively in it. It just looks vastly different from the fire bombing of Dresden. This does not change the reality of the situation, only the optics.
You're right. We're in the middle of it. Witnesses to something significant, whether we want to be or not. The world is changing faster than most people realize. And this war will leave no one untouched.
