The problem with monetary and financial goals is that once you hit the target, the bar just keeps getting raised. Nobody is ever satisfied. Nobody ever stops. There are no billionaires that just say “that’s enough.”

Everybody keeps going. It’s an endless cycle.

That’s what happens when you denominate things in fiat. Fiat has no ceiling, so the goals can never truly be met.

I’m not saying don’t strive and grind toward your goals. You should. But you also have to find the happy medium.

Honestly, I haven’t found it yet.

There are beautiful days where the weather is perfect and I want to go outside, but I’m locked in working on my business. Maybe that’s good. Maybe it’s bad.

Who knows how many beautiful days you have left?

You have to enjoy God’s creation and what He gave us, but you also have to live.
