Nostalgia is a liar. People who long for “a simpler time” before the internet and mobile phones are just naive. The world today is much simpler to live in than it was 30 years ago.
OK I am open to this, how is it more "simple" today? In 1996 we talked to each other, I never worried about the cost of things, and I was not tethered to a connection 24/7. I am really interested in what makes today more simple in your view. Just because I do not see it right away, doesn't make it untrue.
