Nothing has changed here. It's clear to me that we've been in a bear market that was hidden by a depreciating dollar. A second bear.
I'm thinking that this was required for the coming super...
The protocol itself seems to create an incentive structure for those who can sense (viscerally) into the change to HODL UTXOs independent of fiat volatility. A symbiotic reduction in time preference. This is why it feels like a genetic mutation of sorts for some. (Read : The Gene Keys)
This, in turn, locks in more and more of the total supply like a jenga puzzle. Solidifying and strengthening the network.
But if you don’t “see” it, or moreover, “feel” it, then it just looks like a chaotic, fragile, disorganised mess of risky volatility. Keeping most away (or bouncing them out) until they themselves are ready.
I guess that all could be condensed to “Bitcoin is pattern recognition”. Aligning humanity into a new emergent structure.
