Very untrue. The gangster's paradise has taken away your ability to negotiate better conditions as a labourer, or compete directly with the capitalist.
But it's still a voluntary exchange that you are signing on to. You are not owned or forced to accept those conditions.

Like.. Why believe something untrue that makes you feel worse? Why blame your bad situation on things you can't control? It's very bad mindset to be saying these things, it's not even super important if you agree with it or not.
