I really don’t buy the idea that agentic coding is going to mean more indie software, at least not competitive stuff. I see a lot of people finding it’s helping them bootstrap something quickly, but although that might *feel* good I don’t think it leads to more software that sticks around. IME the reason software fails is not the easy 80% that LLMs speed-run for you, it’s the tricky 20%. Most people tend to lose interest when they hit that part, and I don’t think any LLM makes that go away.
