Delta.chat for private messaging.
Antennapod for podcasts.
VLC for music.
A good vpn app, like Mullvad.
Good to go.
But mostly : don't bring it with you everywhere you go. Only bring it when you really feel you'll need it.
And airplane mode should be the default. You can call them back later...
