@nprofile1q... Article reads like he lived paycheck to paycheck, even at the scale of at least $100’s of k’s a year. Yeah he didn’t live lavishly, but a lot more so than a high level manager at a corporation. Even renting a 38 acre ranch the last several years of his life for $10k-$30k per month.
Goes to show being a high income earner doesn’t mean you will be wealthy. And the opposite can easily be true. Spending below your income in your formative years is what makes you wealthy.
