It runs pretty well on older hardware (back to a point).

My sons regularly play on their ThinkPad X220T laptops and it performs alright on the Intel i7 second gen processor and Intel graphics. Of course, it does a lot better on their desktop computers with dedicated Radeon graphics cards.

My daughter plays on her ThinkPad T470s and enjoys it on that laptop.
