I see your point now, but I think there's more than one issue here. There's chance (gambling, guessing, luck), memorization or application without full understanding (following electrical codes without necessarily knowing why they exist, or solving a mathematical formula using steps without actually knowing why), and language or communication of ideas. I was on the language aspect of it. I've had shitty professors who I think understood the concepts. They just sucked ass at teaching.

Maybe they didn’t fully understand it either. A lot of professors lack the practical skills to actually do what they teach. That’s why they chose to be teachers lol idk
