I didn't even think about potential readers who are non-writers pushing LLM shit. They don't know what they don't know, I suppose.

My mom, for example, is very enthusiastic about my writing but hasn't really liked what I've written since I was in my twenties half my lifetime ago. Once I slid more into cosmic horror and dream / nightmare stories, she didn't really "get" it. "Why are so many stories about insects?" she once asked. The dichotomy of us being little more than insects in the larger universe isn't easy to explain to someone who hasn't read enough of the genre and it's hard to adequately build up to in short fiction. You either have the background and immediately understand or you don't and it comes across as a weird fixation. Maybe it is a weird fixation.
