I feel this. My family doesn't read my stuff. With palpable disinterest, my brother said he would read one thing at some point in the future.
I provided a chapter to my brother-in-law years ago and he read three pages, then asked why I didn't get LLM feedback. Ugh. I asked for the writing back.
My sister said she wanted to read it so I left it with her. I don't think that's going to happen.
