Which is safer, multisig with closed source and no direct access to keys, or single sig with open source and key access? Opinions?

I’m going with both options. Main stack under open source and key access. Smaller stack multisig no direct access to keys. Smaller stack as backup for inheritance purposes

I’m playing with both options also. I just setup my first actual multi-sig and wasn’t so hard. You can do cool things like 2of3 and one is a Sparrow hot key. Or 3of4 with a Sparrow hot key and still requiring 2 HW wallets. Also playing with which keys should I use for true multi-sig: nostr:npub...
