I used to never cover crop until a few years ago. Now we try to cover crop everything during winter to help soil microbes and organic matter content.

I’ve also been in the building trades for a few years and have seen some of the materials that go into building houses in America. We build mostly wood stick framed houses so to weatherproof we wrap houses in waterproof plastic Tyvek barriers. It would be nice to be able to build concrete or brick houses again, yet profit driven fiat system and corrupt government regulations force us to find the quickest and cheapest way to build.
