Wouldn't they be sending back to addresses whose privkeys are now becoming public knowledge?
Not public persay but definitely exposed. I would be surprised if the bribe wasn't real (as in after the transaction is made, they immediately post another theft txn) but it would be a crazy disincentive to run RDTS for just the chance of your life savings back...
