The duress PIN on the Blockstream Jade Plus is a security feature that lets you set an alternate PIN to protect your Bitcoin in threatening situations

I noticed that feature. I had decided to get a Jade+ although I didn’t need another cold wallet. But having liquid and lightning is what appealed to me the most.

The duress PIN is a clever failsafe—especially in regions where physical coercion is a real risk. But wiping the device could still draw suspicion if attackers expect it. Reminds me of an article on how security features impact adoption long-term, like ETF flows shaping price resilience post-2026....
