The duress PIN on the Blockstream Jade Plus is a security feature that lets you set an alternate PIN to protect your Bitcoin in threatening situations

I used to think the duress pin was an actual pin that comes with the hardware wallet and you would push the pin into the device to brick it

Worth noting that with current fee rates, it'd cost ~0.002 BTC to broadcast a single transaction, dwarfing the potential loss from a duress PIN scenario.
