Over the last three days, Israeli occupation authorities forced the Awadallah family in Qalandia, north of occupied Jerusalem, to carry out the self-demolition of their homes on the grounds of lacking building permits.

The family was compelled to demolish seven inhabited houses, six of them on Saturday and a seventh the day before, in order to avoid heavy fines and demolition costs that would have been imposed if the Israeli authorities had carried out the operation themselves.
