People follow trends, not costs. Gaining network effect is tough; they need clear benefits. Profit drives interest. It's hard to achieve, but good luck. Drastic measures like eliminating Bitcoin taxes or taxing other currencies could help. Merchants accepting Bitcoin could charge less than for fiat....
