A new poll of nearly 4,000 students across 303 US universities found that 74% believe Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, while 82% support Palestinians’ right to self-determination and statehood.

The survey also found that 77% of US college students hold favourable views of Palestinians, compared with just 15% who expressed favourable views of the Israeli occupation government.

Conducted in August by Brandeis University’s Maurice and Marilyn Cohen Center for Jewish Studies, the poll highlights growing support for Palestinian rights among students across US campuses.
