i made this and it's not gender neutral exactly. it's a cat, and i renamed fennec to felice. and it's a female cat, though that's not clear. it also has "yin" vibes compared to the firefox wrapped around the planet. also the main changes in felice are exactly about eliminating that SaaS everything is a cloud model, and felice is self-sovereign - you can put any extension in it that you want. the amount of friction for developers wanting to put their own extensions together is immense, they obstruct the workflow in about 10 separate hidden configurations that make deploying a nostr signer on firefox a long and drawn out process. i did it so i could make the smesh signer extension, which you can easily already use with firefox or librewolf at https://smesh.lol possible to use on android as well. fennec throws a heap of obstractions up against doing this, so i had to make felice. so felice being wrapped around herself instead of teh firefox wrapped around the earth and squeezing it, are many layers of symbolic meaning.
