While rummaging around in some old files looking for something else, I stumbled across these old marker sketches. (Who remembers making marker roughs? ✋)
These would have been concepts for a Font Bureau 20th-anniversary campaign back in 2009. If I had to guess, this would probably have been a full-page ad in Eye (or maybe Print, or CA?)
I can’t actually say whether either of these was produced. I don’t recall making up final art, and I didn’t have any tear sheets in that file. So probably not?
