This is based! My wife and I have been building a life for 26 years. We got married in her families church, family and a few friends only.
"Reception" was family and friends at her sisters house. Honeymoon was a night in Dallas at the Omni. All in we had may be 1K into the wedding because we wanted a marriage more then a wedding.
Since then we have had amazing vacations, etc. Why? Early on we refused to piss money away or go into debt. She has always supported my business ventures.
Today people tell us we are "lucky". 🤷
