UI/UX is a specialist role so most devs suck at it.
Furthermore, many cypherpunk devs actively cultivate an IDGAF attitude which gives them the cover they need to ignore beta testing their development...

Ideally those should be done by different people. Having a designer do the UX job can be as bad as having the programmer doing it.
Unfortunately, that’s what happens most of the time. Nobody takes UX seriously.
