Anyone else having a difficult time staying caught up on relevant world events and macroeconomic data outside of X?

This is an echo chamber and yet my attempt to jeep prying eyes away on my alternate identity caused me to be banned from X without reason. Most has a place, but most do not see the need for it yet, or perhaps ever.
