The indoctrination of students with lies is worse, but I do think the school system has done students wrong by degrading blue collar jobs. As AI starts taking over jobs, it is likely going to be people in the skilled trades (plumber, electrician, carpenter, etc.) who have guaranteed well-paying jobs, while many (most?) of the people with college degrees end up on unemployment.
