That is false. BIP-110 targets arbitrary data storage: inscriptions, Ordinals, BRC-20s, and large OP_RETURNs. It caps outputs at 34 bytes and OP_RETURN at 83 bytes. Lightning channel opens, HTLCs, and payment transactions are standard monetary transactions that fit well within those limits. The ...
