Yeah, I think thats definitely lacking. First impression is that the tablet concept is more for movies/games.
Also replaces clipboards. If there was a graphene capable tablet that would be cool. Since some versions back, android has a full WIMP ui mode. If you have a usbc to usba adapter (male and female, respectively) plug in a mouse and a pointer appears. Plug in a hub and add a keyboard and the onscreen keyboard disappears. The folding stand thingies often wrap it into one With a touchpad.
it is a viable tool for AI coding. Enable the linux terminal aftern unlocking developer options (tap the version on system about button 7 times) and you can run claude code and build servers and android apps.
so, yeah, it is an option and many of those keyboard case things double as protection and there is actually a lot you can do. They aren't big memory or grunty cpu though. Good enough for web dev tho also.
