I assume, that for all ranking systems, I am below the fold of page five in the classified ads. Most of my posts get crickets until 2 weeks later someone actually checks my profile.
if you aren't engaging with the people who are actually reading you regularly of course you don't get much response. i really don't like this convention of conflating marketing with personal blogging and journalling. one is to sell stuff. the other is for the soul.
