In a way, yes, in that the reason for most people that they never respected cops is abuse they & those they know received, & please don't think I am stating that I envy that. That would be dismissive & just...shitty?

But every day I am more & more unhappy about the fact that blinding privilege had me clownishly deferring to these fools for so long. Gross.
