It's weirdly short for what could be an agent provocateur article too, there are dozens of social, psychological reasons to hate games, and gamers. There's entrenched reasons why people play games to avoid conversations, or don't create emotional contexts around them. There's an argument for and against not letting go of game-playing as a social construct enforced by Calvinist work ethics. But no, pass the Pinot and snub the readers.
