It's weirdly short for what could be an agent provocateur article too, there are dozens of social, psychological reasons to hate games, and gamers. There's entrenched reasons why people play games to avoid conversations, or don't create emotional contexts around them. There's an argument for and against not letting go of game-playing as a social construct enforced by Calvinist work ethics. But no, pass the Pinot and snub the readers.

@nprofile1q... There are so many little different greek island myths as well, that are completely different from the ones we know, because the homeric achaen monomyth just smothers everything. The bit you see that in is lots of character in Hades were heroes of smaller myth cycles. Which always reminded me of the Christian assimilation of "oh your pagan deity is in hell"

The best bit in Night of the Lepus is when they try to make the ominous thumping of the rabbits coming all tense and JAWS and you already know it's going to be rabbits and it's just.. rubbish
