My #Bitaxe was acting weird so I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Now the fan and screen aren’t working, I only hear some sort of electric whirring sound.

Does anyone know if this is repairable or are its days of mining for a solo block over? #asknostr

Mine never worked and remained a brick. Should just bought a 10oz silver paper weight.

Did you try reflashing it?

Double check the power supply. Make sure it's 5v and then also try a replacement first. I have had a few of these cheap power supplies degrade enough that they no longer work with my Bitaxe.

My Bitaxe 601 bricked (black screen & no hash rate) running Firmware v2.10. Sat on my desk unplugged for couple months. Just tried update for v2.12.2 and back online. Worth a try!
