i think the thing about physiognomy is useful not because of eugenics theory reasons but because it tells you about genetic heritage, blood lines and if you really went deep into it you would be able to string together all of the big history connected to the places and people connected to that. this is epigenetic data, not genetic. all the things you can see are not even the tip of the iceberg above the water. it's the few thousand atoms at the very apex of the iceberg.
