@Oshi calls and SMS stay with the profile that owns the SIM, which is the owner profile, so a second profile will not receive your texts. data works in every profile, and notifications from a secondary profile only arrive once you let that user run in the background. i would put the SIM on a data only plan and move calls and texts to a VoIP number, so the profiles handle app isolation and your phone number stops being attached to your name.
