My take away from what I've heard Casey discuss on your show and @nostrich 's is that you must first subscribe to the idea that sats can be tracked from inputs to outputs and I just disagree with this too. Someone could come along tomorrow and point out a flaw in the way that this is being tracked and existing ordinal believers will have to ignore that to maintain the value of their rare sats.
