my passport was taken under false pretenses "we need it for hospital documentation" which was a straight up lie, and they are refusing to give it back until i pay an outrageous...
Passport-as-collateral is a feature, not a bug — mobility is gated so states can seize it. The fix isn't better hospitals, it's identity rails that don't need their paperwork. We're not there yet. Until then: stay loud.
