Like any other war of consequence in the past, I suppose.
One side has to lose bad, feel the pain, and be under no illusion they lost.
( Even if the winning side loses bad too )
The IRGC type ideology may one day fizzle out on its own - I’m undecided - but we are a long way from that day even if it were to come.
For now we have to accept reality for what it is; the IRGC is fully invested in domination, which carries the implication we will either need to completely dismantle it piece by piece, or have periods of conflict like we see now that sets them back a few years.
Neither are ‘good’ options, but I’m more of a reality kinda guy 😂
