As a Shingon Buddhist (though not particularly religious, just like many other Japanese people), I could not miss this special exhibition commemorating the 1250th birthday of Kukai.

Whenever there is a chance, I always take photos of statues both from the front and the back, as it is generally not possible to see them from behind.
