Sure, but a father‘s role is to be the signpost to the heavenly father for his children. My father has failed, but by God‘s grace I found healing in His fatherly arms, in spite of not having known the model of a good father. God is a good father, but what does it evoke in a person who never felt the loving arms?

Their „love tank“ had been pre-filled by her dad telling them they are beautiful and by the loving arms of her earthly father and the shoulder that was there to be leaned on.
