Out of nowhere, both my Amazon Echo Dot Maxes have stopped working. Attempts to get a refund go nowhere.
I'm not going to replace them. Fuck Amazon.

I went big in on smart speakers back when I still believed in Google's good will. (Hahaha... Sigh) As they die, I haven't been replacing them and I've unplugged most of the rest. As soon as I actually thought about how they worked, I got really creeped out.
