I use all of them, except obtanium the only problem with F Droid it takes a couple days until you get the new release of apks but that's about it but F Droid itself is actually a organization actually...

Thanks, I didn't know the "GitHub Store" existed; I'll test it out sometime.

I'm not attacking F-Droid; it's just that I've had a few unpleasant situations with it where I urgently needed an app update, but had to wait several days for it to be rebuilt.

And that rebuild is just a rebuild. Nobody there checks the source code. In other words, if a developer's account is hacked and malicious code is added, that malicious code will be rebuilt on F-Droid a few days after its release on GitHub.

In theory, those few days are supposed to provide a safety net, and maybe someone else will notice a malicious update, but in practice, I just don't use much software, and for the software that is critical to me, the developers are responsible regarding security and digital hygiene.

If I'm mistaken, I thought F-Droid verifies that the code is not malicious before they release it. That's why it takes a couple days to release on F-Droid. For me, I don't really worry about malicious code on APKs because I got a firewall that will log everything the app does. And if I see some mali...
