I don't know who needs to hear this, but you only need slightly above-average intelligence, to have a master's degree, unless you're majoring in something like electrical engineering.

Comp eng here, 80% of the coursework was electrical eng, basically just math. I do miss electrical, but I was never smart enough for it. Never had to take emag as a CPE either, thats really what makes eletrical hard!
For reference at my university (average 35k students) only single digits graduate with a CPE degree. Most drop out and the rest switch to EE. I suspect this is pretty average though, at least in the US.
